James Beckmann, Esq.
James was born in Bellevue, Nebraska. He graduated from
Nebraska Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Education and English. At NWU,
James was a three time All-Conference Player as well as an Honorable Mention
All-American for the Men's Soccer Team. He graduated from the University of
Nebraska Law School in May 2003. During law school he was a member of the Nebraska Law Review, Student President
of NATA/ATLA, published a case note, and received a CALI Excellence Award for
Construction Law.
James has been in practice since 2003 and has managed cases involving
a wide spectrum of complex issues. He has tried cases in front of judges and
juries, argued before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced in
front of federal courts in several jurisdictions. In addition to his practice
in Nebraska, James maintains active status as a licensed attorney in
California, so he can serve his clients without the cost of hiring local
counsel. James is also a member of several local, state and nationwide
organizations.
